I think it's an ideal base for a relaxing break. The place is so close to Hope Cove, Thurleston and Salcombe. They provide shower facilities, a hairdryer, and bath sheets in the washroom.

We had a great stay in Kingsbridge short walk to the garden as well as the beach. Location was good and remote. Also, it was based in the middle of the city. Really enjoyed private bathroom. Admired EXCEPTIONAL mountain view from the window.

We had a wonderful stay at this hidden gem in a great location. The room was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hosts, Donna and Marcus, were friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The outside snug was a delightful addition, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Although there were no toiletries in the shower or breakfast on site, we were able to book a nearby inn for a delicious breakfast in a stunning 13th century building. The owners provided a communal fridge for our use, and they even thoughtfully left a kettle and teas and coffee in our room. The property is conveniently located near Kingsbridge and the coast, making it easy to explore the area. Despite the presence of a yoga studio on site, it didn't disrupt our stay as we were out and about during the day. we highly recommend Merrifield House Devon as an excellent base for exploring South Devon and we look forward to returning in the future.

The location was idyllic, just beautiful! We were able to travel to nearby towns and beaches within 10-15 minutes. The room was lovely and spotless, with an incredibly comfortable bed. Donna and Marcus, the hosts, were so friendly and attentive. They even offer yoga classes on the beach, which looked amazing. The grounds and adjoining fields were perfect for walking our dog. Highly recommended for a peaceful and relaxing stay.
